W-2 Wage and Tax Statements are prepared by the Central Payroll Bureau in Annapolis where they are mailed to recipients usually in mid January. UMBI does not have duplicates. Request a replacement on-line through the State's website if you have not received your W-2 by January month-end. To use the State's web site to obtain a replacement W-2 statement, an employee MUST have their most current pay stub which contains the information that will allow them security access to their record.

TheCentral Payroll Bureau'sPayroll Online Service Center (POSC)has the followingfeatures forstate employees:

  • Online pay stub history (12 rolling months)
  • Retrieve/print W2 information (3 years history)
  • Direct Deposit authorization for changes
  • Up to 5 years history of year end
  • W-4 withholding changes
  • Address update capability
