Maryland high school science interns showcase their work with mentors and coordinators from UMBI’s Center for Advanced Research in Biotechnology (CARB) at Shady Grove. This year’s interns were selected from Thomas S Wootton High School, Montgomery Blair High School, and Northwest High School. Each year, UMBI works with Montgomery County Public Schools to provide a world-class research environment in which high school students can gain hands-on experience in laboratory research in biotechnology, as well as presentation skills.
