Attention UMBI Microarray Customers

We are closing our microarray facility for the foreseeable future.  CARB has engaged in preliminary discussions with other research Centers at UMBI about resuming service at a future date, but future plans are not yet resolved.  We will post any future updates on this site.  In the meanwhile, there is a local facility at the University of Maryland, Baltimore that will accept clients.  Please contact Nick Ambulos (nambulos@umaryland.edu; 410-706-3339) for general information, or Jing Yin for more specific information on microarrays and genotyping (jyin@umaryland.edu).

The University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute's Microarray Core Facility is a fee-for-service laboratory operated by a joint venture between the Center for Biosystems Research (CBR) and the Center for Advanced Research in Biotechnology (CARB). The Microarray Core Facility is located at the University of Maryland Shady Grove campus at the Shady Grove Life Science Center in Rockville, Maryland.
